We anticipated some questions or concerns you might have about the ‘at event’ pricing and have answered those below.
Why is the ‘At Event’ price $30 more than the online price?
Simply put, we want you to sign up online! Signing up online benefits you, other racers and us!
Benefits include:
- Ability for us to better plan for the race day based off class entry
- Get you in the building quicker when doors open on race morning (because no one likes standing in line forever, amirite?)
- Streamlines the check in process at the event and saves you time!
- Eliminates *most* entry mistakes that stem from poor handwriting by you, or manual racer entry on event day by us! When you sign up online we import that directly into the event, removing the element of human error Yay technology!
- Plus, a lot more benefits to everyone involved that I’m not going to type because you probably won’t read them anyways! Just trust us, it’s better for everyone to sign up online!!
But I’m not sure if I can make it to the race, so I don’t want to sign up online and spend my money if something happens and I can’t come to the event!!!
Don’t worry, we got you! We totally understand how life works & that things can change, including your plans. Because of that, we are keeping online registration open until 5 PM Central the Thursday before the event! So you have up until the evening before race weekend to sign up for the event. We assume most of you are responsible adults who will know your weekend plans by that point ;).
Additionally, we will offer you a full refund (minus service fees, which is beyond our control because the payment website we use won’t let us) if you can’t make it… as long as you email us by 5 PM Central the Thursday before the event!!
Noticing a theme here? No?? Well, the theme is 5 PM Central the Thursday before the event.
So…. if you sign up to race and your plans change, just let us know by the deadline (go back and read this again if you’re still not sure when that is) and we will get you refunded no problem! Refunds typically take 5-7 days to process (again, because payment company... not us!) and show back up in your account, but we will refund you as soon as we see your email! I’d like to make note though that as much as we value you, we aren’t staring at our email 24/7 waiting to see who wants to chat. We might not see your email for 12 hours and sometimes 24 hours. So please be patient with us, race season is busy!! We will do our best to be fast… we promise.
Lastly, we are still offering registration at the event! So, if you really don’t want to sign up online, you can still sign up at the event. It will just cost you a little bit more to do so. But again, we are making the at event pricing significantly higher, because we don’t want you to sign up at the event! We want you to sign up online. But we’re compromising and giving you the option just in case.
Well, I have a different question about registration pricing, or something regarding registration and pricing and you didn’t answer it.
You can always email us and ask questions you have! We’re here to help as best we can. (Don’t forget we can’t always respond right away, so give us a little time!!)
