Kicker Clash – Clash for Cash 3 Participation Rule
- Eligibility:
- The Winner of each AX Pro heat race and the Top 3 X Pro heat finishers are eligible to participate in the Kicker Clash.
- Clarification for Racers Qualifying on Both Bikes:
- Racers qualifying on both AX Pro and X Pro bikes may participate in the Clash on the bike of their choice. If a racer qualifies on both bikes but declines to participate, provisions in Section 3 and Section 4 will apply.
- Provisions for AX Pro Non-Participation:
- If an AX Pro heat race winner chooses not to participate in the Kicker Clash, the slot will be filled based on qualifying times from the AX Pro class as follows:
a. The fastest qualifier who did not earn a spot through heat races will have the first opportunity to participate.
b. If that racer declines, the next fastest qualifier will be offered the spot.
c. This process will continue until all AX Pro slots are filled.
- If an AX Pro heat race winner chooses not to participate in the Kicker Clash, the slot will be filled based on qualifying times from the AX Pro class as follows:
- Provisions for X Pro Non-Participation:
- If an X Pro heat race finisher in the top 3 chooses not to participate in the Kicker Clash, the slot will be filled based on qualifying times from the X Pro class as follows:
a. The fastest qualifier who did not earn a spot through heat races will have the first opportunity to participate.
b. If that racer declines, the next fastest qualifier will be offered the spot.
c. This process will continue until all X Pro slots are filled.
- If an X Pro heat race finisher in the top 3 chooses not to participate in the Kicker Clash, the slot will be filled based on qualifying times from the X Pro class as follows:
- Confirmation of Participation:
- All participation or non-participation in the Kicker Clash must be confirmed immediately following the completion of heat races. This ensures timely reassignment of slots if necessary and allows race officials to finalize the lineup.
Gate Choice for AX Pro Main 2
Effective Rule Adjustment:
For AX Pro Main 2, the gate choice for riders will be determined by their finishing positions in Main 1. The highest finisher in Main 1 will have the first gate choice, the second-highest finisher will have the second choice, and so on.
This adjustment supersedes the existing provision that ties gate choice for Main 2 to heat and LCQ finishes.
Intent of Rule Adjustment:
This change aligns with competitive fairness principles by rewarding performance in Main 1 with priority in gate selection for Main 2.
Section 1: Number Plates
1.1 Number Plate Colors:
AX Pro Class: White backgrounds with black numbers.
X Pro Class: Black backgrounds with white numbers.
Points Leader (All Classes): Red backgrounds with white numbers.
1.2 Number Plate Placement:
Numbers must be displayed on the front number plate and both side number plates.
1.3 Number Size and Font:
Numbers must be a minimum of 5 inches high.
Numbers must be in a standard block font for clear visibility. No custom or stylized fonts are permitted.
1.5 Logos and Stickers:
The official AMA Arenacross logo must appear on the front number plate.
1.6 General Compliance:
All number plates must meet AMA Arenacross specifications before being allowed on the track.
Riders with non-compliant number plates may be disqualified or penalized at the discretion of race officials.
These supplemental rules are designed to ensure uniformity, fairness, and professionalism across all AMA Arenacross events. Compliance with these rules will contribute to the safety and integrity of the series.
